Wine making
traditional methods
harvested by hand
The winery El Pendola preserves its historic roots and continues to use traditional vine cultivation methods: grapes are harvested by hand, dried naturally in the old drying rooms and fermented slowly to make the wines.
The vineyards extend over several hectares in the Fumane valley in Valpolicella. An area particularly suited for vine growing as the plants are exposed to the sun all day long.
The traditional vine traing system known as "Veronese pergola", keeps humidity of the soil away from the grapes in order to allow them to ripen optimally.
